The Buffalo Bill Center of the West, formerly known as the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, is a complex of five museums and a research library featuring art and artifacts of the American West located in Cody, Wyoming.

Since 2008, the Center of the West has been part of the Smithsonian Affiliates program.
The Buffalo Bill Museum offers a wide-ranging view of the life and times of William F. Cody, as well as of the "Buffalo Bill" character he created, which made him one of the world's most celebrated persons of his time.
We have visited Cody on multiple road trips, and and have enjoyed the Buffalo Bill Center and its many museums and educational programs.
Cody is situated in an area with many nearby attractions, including Yellowstone National Park and the Beartooth Highway.
